What is a listing?
One way that you may qualify for Disability Insurance Benefits (DIB) or Supplemental Social Security Income (SSI) is to meet a Social Security Listing. The listings (also called the “Blue Book”) contain impairments that the Social Security Administration considers severe enough to prevent you from working. The Listing Impairments apply to the evaluation of claims for both Disability Insurance Benefits and Supplement Social Security Income (SSI).
